Regional Transport Authority Peshawar work in Peshawar Division with the mandate to regulate and ensure provision better public transport and facilitate the general public in travel with special focus to ensure provision of safety arrangements availability of special facilities for disable persons and senior citizens on Bus stands and in public transport. Regional Transport Authority Peshawar regulate the public transport as defined under Motor Vehicles Ordinance 1965 and Motor Vehicle Rules 1969 and implement the policy decisions as received by the provincial government from time to time. Regular road checking is carried out on different roads on daily basis in collaboration with traffic police in order to give relief to travelling passengers
